Help!!!! Urgent!!!

That is a 250W PSU, did you build the system yourself? I guess not.. you may consider getting a 300W PSU from coolink or whatever brad, but not LC or HKC.

my dear if I had built I would not be online ....lol I just about know how to use it ... I am in South Africa so I will have to look arround ... But I will make use to ask first ... is it very hard to install??? I cannot afford to take it somewhere hence all my silly questions online ...

I really do appreciate all your help and advice ...

Here is the solution. When you install windows 7 it will automatically configure the VGA driver adapter (totally useless) ATI does not have a driver to support Windows 7 on this display adapter; but here is a trick that will get you up and running again.

1. open the control panel
2. click on appearance and personalization
3. click on display
4. Click on screen resolution
5. click on the advanced settings tab
6. click on the adapter tab
7. click on properties
8. click on drivers tab
9 . click update driver
10. click search automatically
11. Windows 7 will find and install a driver for your ATI mobility xpress 200
12. restart computer when prompted

Also, once it boots, do not use Aero (turn it off if it is enabled).

Good luck.

GEWB

Mkay you took out what's called the cmos battery. If it was low it might have been causing all the problems. Go to the store and get a replacement and stick the new one in and try it
