Help with BSOD

Hi guys
I am looking for any advice you can offer re BSOD. I have attached Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2. This is an intermittant fault that seems to be getting worse.
The machine is about a year old

Looking at your last seven days worth of dump files gives a variety of error codes which could indicate a hardware problem. Old and incompatible drivers can also give the same sort of results as well though.

Symantec was mentioned specifically more than once.

Norton is known to be a cause of BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. I suggest that you uninstall Norton, Then boot into Safe mode and use the Norton Removal Tool to clear up. Download Blue Screen friendly Microsoft Security Essentials as its replacement. Make sure Windows firewall is enabled!

pcouffin.sys Tue Dec 05 14:39:30 2006 P-Couffin is VSO software, related to CD/DVD burning software. Update or Uninstall your current CD/DVD burning software.

If blue screens continue collect the new ones together and attach them to a post.
I suggest you download and run Memtest86+ overnight 6-8 hours, minimum of 7 passes. If errors appear you can stop. If you have multi ram sticks it's then time to test single sticks at a time. See the links. Post back with the results.

Hi Fimble
Thank you for the quick response to my post. I have downloaded and installed the drivers for the Realtech LAN and HD audio. Since then I have had a BSOD so I guess we can rule them out J
Next I have removed my DVD burning software and I will wait and see if that is the problem.
It is going to take me several days to go through all of your suggestions but I will post and let you know if/when I resolve the issue. I am not happy to hear that Symantec might be the problem, however it is a process of elimination and as I said I will keep you informed.

It appears that removing the DVD burning software from my machine has stopped the BSOD.
