hi, my first post ever in a forum driven by absolute desperation.
I keep getting BSOD related to graphics (GTX 675M) I think...
Im running alienware m17xr4 with windows 7 home premium. I think a windows update somewhere has reduced my much loved laptop into an expensive doorstop. its a brand new graphics card. replaced it a week or so ago. all other diagnostics come up fine - bios is up to date - I have tried everything i can think of but I am not adept enough to decode the bug check parameters so am hoping someone here can help. I have the .dmp files still if the below whocrashed report isn't enough.
prior to the new graphics card I was getting the same issue - as soon as i try to run a game or anything related to high power graphics (i run mostly photoshop/illustrator/digitising software/coral and plotter/cutter software) it hangs/freezes and I get nvidia card has been unplugged and cannot be ejected. If i roll back to older drivers I get bsod, which is why i replaced the card, but seems it is not the card but some sort of driver issue. I use the laptop for work so am reluctant to reset to factory if at all avoidable as it would take days to reload software I use everyday.
any help advice is MUCH appreciated.
