Certainly, but you must export and import as you make changes.

Select "File" then select "Import and Export..."

Select "Export to a file" then "Next"
Screenshot_6.jpg
Select "Personal Folder File (.pst)" then "Next"
Screenshot_7.jpg
Select your Personal Folders in order that you get all of the information that is in your Outlook 2007 database then select "Next" and choose a place to save the file. If you are like me it can be up to a 2 GB file (I save everything :o)
Screenshot_8.jpg

On your other computer be sure you have access to the file and select the "Import and Export..." choice once again but this time you will Import the file by selecting "Import from another file or program" and then select "Next"
Screenshot_9.jpg
You will want to select the "Personal Folder File (*.pst) option
Screenshot_10.jpg
Then browse to your .pst file you saved earlier and be sure the radio button is ticked indicating "Replace duplicates with items imported"

Do it again once you get back from traveling to update your other computer.

I hope that helps. There may be an easier method but I use this method when I synch my Outlook 2007 accounts on my computers. (It's free and it works)

Yes, it backs up everything. Contacts, all emails, Calendar...all of it. Just be sure you select your "Personal Folders" in Step 4 of my earlier post and, IMPORTANT (I forgot to mention it), select "Include subfolders."
Screenshot_8.jpg

You will receive your email on your laptop and your desktop from your email accounts.

Actually, unless you care to carry over changes to your calendar and contacts, once you have done the export import steps you can leave it alone. Just be sure in your settings for your email that you are leaving a copy on the server or else once you receive an email on your laptop you won't be able to receive it on your desktop. I set my email accounts to remove from the server after 10 days so my iPhone, my laptop and my desktop all receive emails. This is especially important when your devices (and computers) are set to receive mail automatically.
