i upgraded from cs 5.1 to cc and now have a problem where i cannot install any of my old plugins because the install path points to the old cs directory with no option to change the install path

things i've tried
removed all traces of cs and performed a clean install of cc
manually copy plugin files into the cc install directory (c:\program files\adobe\adobe photoshop cc 2015\plug-ins)
manually copy plugin files into the user data plugins directory

i need to run these plugins for work projects therefore have to keep both versions on my workstaion anyone have any ideas wtf the problem may be

Hi Dancing,
Did you remove the PS folders in Program & programs(x86).
You will also have to remove the APPDATA folders as well, to see these you need to reset folder view to show hidden.

I suspect that you will need them to be different drives to work properly as everytime you update, the older PS will be overwritten.
