Help with vista and 7

Ok guys idont know what the problem is but im tri-booting with 2 windows 7's and one vista the, and i cant get onto to one win 7 or vista, they just the bootscreen foever, idk what to do the only falw that i could think of is that i use the on/off switch to turn off instead of shut down, please help

Hey 7dreams, can you start in safe mode? have you done any changes to your system like adding hardware or programs?

since you say both w7 and vista aren't working, it could be also something with your harddrive, I sure hope not that would mean you might loose your data.

try system restore or putting the windows 7 CD and trying repair, see if that helps..

did this problem occur after you installed/upgraded a win 7 build?

i have 7100 installed since the leak, i had 7132 since leak, and then vista, so no this problem did not occour when i installed, i can't boot into vista safemode , bt thats what im tring to get inot and win 7 has same problems, only one of my 3 os's are working, i tried using disc but it keeps going on foreever like vista and win 7

your saying you can't boot from the windows 7 disc too? are you sure it's booting from the CD not the harddrive? you say you can boot in one of the OSs but have problems, can you tell us what kind of problems you have with it? if you can start one of the 3 OS you have, I would do a harddisk scan for errors to see if there is any bad sectors, then if the hard drive is OK, I would check if you have any viruses, do you have anti-virus installed? make sure you update the definitions before you scan,

no i have 2 windows 7 partitions , and 1 vista partition my vista and build 7132 windows 7 are the one which hang at the booting screen, the one that work is a windows 7 which is build 7100, and im booting from dvd becasue it said press any button to continue and i did,

so you can't boot from the harddrive at all? but you can boot from the DVD? can you try repair option?

Hi,

Start Orb>Computer , rt click the partiton that is having problems, select Properties>Tools >Check Now.

Tick "scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors"
