I'm going to go with a clean install at this point, provided you have no data you can't lose.

i actually figured it out. (YAY!!) an error would always pop up saying audio detect device driver or somthin like that would always pop up and when i closed it the screen would go buggy. i just did the thing where you go to msconfig and turn everything off on startup and see what the problem is. i just restarted and now its all good. (W00T!!) i might need to reinstall the program now tho.

thanks to all

Wait, how would an audio driver cause this? Interesting...

For the DLL, sfc /scannow should fix it.

Did you run a Clean Boot Procedure where you turn off in msconfig all Services running besides MS ones, then reenable them until you find what is causing the problem?

Or did you uncheck everything in msconfig>Startup?

If so, you will need to go back into msconfig>Startup and turn back on your AV and gadgets if you use them. Those are the only ones I allow, as others are freeloaders on your RAM/CPU and Startup, plus can spy on you which is what most updaters do.

Leave the .dll error open on the desktop and type its full text into Google to see how others have solved it. This is also how to troubleshoot repeat errors in Event Viewer>Custom>Admin where the .dll error will likely be repeating if it is important.
