hello,
i have recently installed Windows 7 and my board is Intel D845GLVA,but the problem is that i can not find the appropriate display driver for it both chipset and extreme graphics software /drivers,the windows is running on VGA,so please help me to solve this problem

I looked at your board specs and your best bet may be to download the latest Intel drivers from Intel.

i visited the intel site but i did'nt find any driver for windows 7 for my board,i tried XP drivers and Vista drivers for the graphics chipset but its of no use..and yeah my chipset is 82845G....

Ok if it is an 82845 then intel has it here Intel® 82845G Graphics Controller - Intel® 82845G Graphics Controller support and they will also install it automatically if you prefer.

Try that driver. It should also support you board....

Ok maybe your problem lies in the fact that we dont know what graphics chipset you have. From the looks of it I would suspect the 945gm, but you never know.

there are several utilities that will identify the vid chipset like cpu-z, everest, etc. You should probably dl one of them and id the chipset. that way we all would know what to look for.

yeah sept prince has given the info of the board,and i did'nt get any problem in XP but since i had installed windows 7 the OS is running in VGA mode
