When I am downloading a file takin about 15mins my system goes to sleep during dload pausing/stopping dload n i have to start dload again. How do i stop system from sleeping during a dload r continue download while sleeping?

goto control panel :ar: hardware & sound :ar: power options and change when the computer goes to sleep... Hope this helps

thanks but is there anyway to dload while sleeping r that is like a human trying to drive while sleeping

yeah it is ... when your computer goes to sleep, it goes into a pre logon state, which kills all active processes...just turn your monitor off and let your download finish up..

Under device manager (network adapters) you can prevent the computer from sleeping by checking the block "allow this device to wake the computer". Therefore downloading will proceed even though the computer wants to sleep. The computer will sleep if there is no network activity. Also the computer will sleep after the download finishes which is nice.
