Solved Hi! Can you help me with wireless connection?

I have Windows 7 Ultimate X64. I have wireless router E1000 linksys and the first time months ago I simply put Cisco CD in to install it, it worked everything well for few months, then it stopped. Today I tried searching here for solutions, but nothing to solve it. I reset the router 30s-30s-30s, install cisco, but nothing. It shows strong connection, but no internet access. It works fine with ethernet cable plugged in, but without it, wireless connection doesn't work.
What I have to do? IPv4 conectivity no access, while for local connection it say normal, its connected, thus internet access is fine.
What to do?

Switch off wireless encryption temporarily to see if it connects. Also, check your IPv4 settings are correct.

Reset the router 30s- what does that mean?

If you did reset the router you should try going into the router's set up page and make sure all the wireless settings are correct like using WPA-2 with AES encryption, type of wireless like N, G, B, and so forth. These things aren't always correct after a router reset takes place.

Posting a screen shot of your ipconfig/all with the wireless turn on would also be helpful.

Refers to a method of reverting a Linksys (may be other brands, too) to factory default. Don't think you'll find it referenced by Linksys, but it's a fairly well known method for many Linksys users. Used by dd-wrt and tomato in the install process.

Ok sounds good.

The problem is that when this User reset his router, the original set up for the wireless network is no longer there. The User should to go into the router's set up page to redefine the wireless settings. I'm pretty sure that is what we are dealing with here but I'll know more after looking at the ipconfig.

The wired network with DHCP turned on is usually still intact so the wired connection works but the wireless settings usually require that you redefine them again.

That is why I always keep a router configuration file handy for when I reset my router. I just run the file and all of the original settings are returned to how they were before the reset. You do have to create the configuration file before hand though.

On my DIR 655 D-Link router the path is Tools>System on the routers set up page.

If the router has been reset back to factory default there's a good chance the router will have to be reconfigured using a wired connection.

Yes wired is the only way to access the router at this point, Linksys default gateway is 192.168.1.1. I'd go with WPA-2 AES encryption, setting to wireless N only will get the best possible speed, it also pays to look for the best wireless channel in the area using a wifi scanner, need to retype the SSID and come up with a password needless to say. All the usual wireless set up stuff.

Wireless configurations usually aren't automatic or at least mine sure isn't.

But why did it work, when I installed Cisco fine for few months?. Then just in the morning no more internet access through wireless. I had also formated computer just in case. And first I put ethernet cable to access router, install cisco, it says everything is fine, I put the cable out, no internet access. Before it worked, now it doesn't. It seemed when I installed the Cisco, everything was fine, it configued the router itself though installation,... well it worked.

Your ethernet gateway address (93.103.0.1) refers to a site registered in Slovenia. It should be using the same gateway address as your wireless adapter. And the DNS addresses for the wireless adapter aren't correct.

Go to the wired PC and get us a snip of its ipconfig/all.

Nevermind. I thought this thread was actually a different thread by a user that had two PC's with a similar problem. Do this (courtesy of Jacee, another member of this forum, very reputable):

Save as flush.bat to your desktop.
Double click on the flush.bat file to run it.Vista and Windows 7... right click the .bat file and choose to run as Administrator. Your computer will reboot itself.

Are you sure you ran it as an administrator? It WILL NOT work otherwise...
