Experiencing a bugcheck resulting in a memory dump. What I'm seeing at the blue screen is hidclass.sys - Address FFFFF8800670AE0F base at FFFFF88006706000, Date Stamp 4a5bcbfd. I performed a sfc /SCANNOW. The result is "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."

I am in the process of running Memtest86+. Thanks for helping.

Additional Info
My rig is overclocked @ 3.4GHz. Here is a partial list. I don't know if the info is needed.

Just as general BSOD troubleshooting, I recommend resetting your overclock to defaults, at least until we get this all solved.

Update or uninstall these old drivers or their respective programs:
Code:
\ElbyCDFL.sys Thu Dec 14 16:22:27 2006- SlySoft CloneCD system driver file
pcouffin.sys Tue Dec 05 09:39:30 2006- Virtual CD drivers, probably related to SlySoft

The dmp points to your USB drivers as the cause.
Code:
BugCheck D1, {6714280, 2, 0, fffff8800670ae0f}

Probably caused by : HIDCLASS.SYS
STACK TEXT:
Code:
nt!KeBugCheckEx
 nt!KiBugCheckDispatch+0x69
 nt!KiPageFault+0x260
[COLOR=Red]HIDCLASS!HidpInterruptReadComplete+0x30f[/COLOR]

USBPORT!USBPORT_Xdpc_Worker+0x1d9[/COLOR]
nt!KiRetireDpcList+0x1bc
nt!KiIdleLoop+0x5a

I would therefore recommend uninstalling your USB drivers, and installing a fresh copy.

Please upload any new dmps you might get.

Hey Jonathan_King, thanks for responding to my call for help. After performing a memtest, I'm inclined to believe the problem is the memory timing. The test was run at default settings. I'm going to keep the rig in the default state for two days. If no bugcheck occurs by Saturday morning, I'll know it is definitely a timing issue. I'll get back to you. This should have been my first step before posting here. Thanks again.
