Hi!
I recognized that Windows 7 has hidden shares and now I am asking myself if it is possible to disable these shares or if windows needs them to run correctly?
ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting
I have added a screenshot of my sharing status.
I think "print$" is for the printer-sharing. "NetzwerkOrdner" is a folder that I have shared."IPC$" is something for the Internet Protocoll i think. "Videos" is the Video folder.
But the other drives/folders I cannot identify. So is it possible to stop sharing C$,D$,E$,X$,Y$,Z$,ADMIN$ and USERS$ ? Or does windows need something of these entries?
