Hide files action button/shortcut/command ?

I want to create a button that will toggle hide files and folders. Or a shortcut say, or may be registry key change pair files.
Some folders such as svn are hidden, so I need to keep switching it off and on frequently. because i don't like to see those ini files and other system files.
