Solved Hiding a partition in Computer window.

I recently had to have my computer repaired after a booting problem & since then my "Computer" window shows "Local Disc" as drive C & a partition called "System Reserved" as drive E. I know what they are but I would like be able to hide the System Reserved partition from showing in the Computer window if possible.

Hello Bligh,

If you like, you could use step 7 in Option One of the tutorial below to remove the drive letter for the "System Reserved" partition to no longer have is show in the Computer window. It will not hurt it to do so.

Can we see a screenshot of Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image so we can make sure your disk and partition configuration is also correct?

Looks good. You'll be fine to remove the drive letter for System Reserved if you like.
