Before we start, TF2 is Team Fortress 2 for anyone who doesn't know.

Anyway, as of the last month or a little longer, my ping has gone from being perfectly normal, to increasing by x3 or x4. What happens is my ping will be just fine, then it will randomly spike up.

To Chicago, I ping around 18-30. To Dallas, 40-60. And now with this problem, my ping will go from one of those, to pinging around 110 to Chicago, and 150-170 to Dallas. I don't know what could have caused this, and I'm looking for help to solve this problem.

I'm not sure what kind of information you'll want to see, so I'll post it as the questions come. But I do know you'll probably want my specs, so I'll put them below.

AMD Phenom II x6
ATI HD Radeon 5770
4GB RAM
1TB HDD
Win7 Home Prem. 32bit
Verizon/Frontier DSL w/ Modem.

I play on a wired connection. Thanks ahead of time!

Could be a corrupt driver, an ISP issue, or both. try checking the latency with latency checker. DPC Latency Checker

Graphics card as in ATI HD Radeon 5770? If so, then that.

Update your Graphics Card drivers: ATI Radeon

Try again (ping). Also, could you please fill in your system specs to help you better.
