History library window won't stay open

Win 7 64 bit Home Premium.

When i click history/show all history the library opens. I click today and a link. Look at that link and then when i want another item have to go back to the start and click history/show all history again

In my vista the history window stays open and i can click different items

I click history and the library opens from top not sidebar. Firefox
I click an item in it and the library closes instead of minimizing.

You click history where? In what?

Library? Are you talking about libraries? Libraries - Microsoft Windows
