Hello to TheIceman6 and pebbly. Have not received a response to my posts so am not sure if I have unwittingly breached a protocol re the site. Sorry if I have. Very pleased to report that after following pebbly's advice I now have the cable & therefore the GPS working in Moving Map mode. Many thanks for the expert tutorial on fixing the problem. jeep1943
