Hello win7 forumers, i have a problem that bothers me since 3 days ago.
I cannot create a home group.
I have a internet connection(pppoe) and i want to share some folders with my neighbour.
Here are some screens.
Any suggestions?
Firstly i would confirm your on ahome network. Open Network and Sharing Center, your network will either be labeled Home, Work, Or Public. Click on the Link below your network name and change it to Home. Also take a look at this Microsoft Fix it. It may be of some assistance.
At what point does the software stop working? Do you get to download the automated troubleshooting services app? or does it quit before then. Also, can you confirm that your network connection was set to Home?
that seems fairly straight forward, ur BB connection 'failed' as u have lost ur network access by the looks of it. unless u dial up. select 'never dial a connection'
and homegroup settings are simply not set correctly also from the msg. check or post ur networking sharing center options. unlikely but also check homegroup listener and homegroup provide are on in ur services.

To share a file with someone else in the homegroup who has already linked their user accounts with an Online ID Provider, such as Windows Live ID - right click on that file and choose share with specific people. This will open the file sharing wizard.
Since i cannot create a homegroup i cannot share.
