Short answer: Yes, it does work on SP3
Using LLTD protocol on XP requires at least SP2. It is not part of XP SP3 as some might have thought, though it's part of Windows Update upon installation of SP3 and yes, there were reported problems with LLTD on SP3. There's an easy fix to have it up and running and is quite easy to do. Please let me know if you need assistance on this matter![]()
THanks Nos. maybe one of these days i will get to boot back to XP again, hahaha....![]()

how do you do this? what options to go thru? i think i am able to enable sharing in my laptop running XP but the desktop running win 7, that i have problems with.I've been sharing between XP and Win 7 since build 7000. You just need to enable sharing on the XP machine then make the correct sharing choices in Win 7. No need to enable IPv6 on the XP machine for me.
