Solved Home Page change

I had been using "My MSN" for my home page. Yesterday I noticed a radical change - everything was shifted to the left. Later on Google I was able to find a link labeled "MSN" which was slightly better, but it did not give me the options to delete or install what was displayed.

Is this "new look" to be permanent from MS?

Not sure but I use My MSN as well with no changes,
So I would imagine if this just started for you yesterday you might of picked a bug about then,
Which Security suite do you have installed ?
Have you downloaded any new attachments or programs ?

You can use these free tools to see if they find anything,
Manually Update them before running full scans,
Try not to use your computer while the scans are running, (one at a time of course).

Hello TrashZone, the security utilities I use are; CWShredder, Spywareblaster, MS Security Essentials and Malwarebytes. I've not d/l any new programs. Also, three other friends (I usually troubleshoot their machines) have also lost the "My MSN" home page we had. At present I'm using a link from Google (search was MSN Home Page). Better than the weird page that showed up when first opening either IE10 or FF24. Thanks for the input. BTW, what forum was I switched to - it doesn't show under General Discussions?

You were moved to the Browsers and Mail section which seems appropriate,
Although I believe you and your friends/ associates are sharing the same bug/ home page hijacker ?
I'm sure you have attempted to reset Internet explorer but did you Delete personal settings and did you see four green checkmarks when you did reset ?
Activate Enhanced protection mode,

Paste this in the Run box,

No, it opens the same page I get when I go into Google and open the link "msn home page". Gues MS has changed so that we are unable to get the MSN home page I had.
Incidentally, TZ, you mentioned a virus, or bug, but when I restored a system image I had created about six weeks ago, that also gave me the current results - so that rules out any "bugs".

I suppose the ultimate test would be to use safe mode with networking and go to the mymsn.com link I posted in post #2.

TZ, just to let you know. Today I went onto IE(10), went into Tools, Options. In the dialog box I retyped "http//my.msn.com", click Apply, OK and rebooted - came up with my "ole" home page. Thanks, again, for your suggestions.
