I try to create a homegroup in my home, but I can't create nor join an available homegroup. Because as you can see in the pic, it says "Homegroup is not ready yet." Why is that happening? Is that due to the internet connection or the problem is ini my laptop? I mean I've tried everything, and i mean EVERYTHING! From following the steps on homegroup troubleshooter, modifying DisabledComponents, disabling my antivirus firewall, making sure the services on Peer Networking Grouping and Home Group Provider is started and automatic, and also as you can see in the second pic, on the right side of the home network icon, isn't between "Access type: internet" and "Connection: wireless network connection" supposedly there's an "Homegroup: ready to create?", which I don't have on me. :banghead:
So please, please, help me figure this problem out. Thank you...

Thank you for your reply @johnsmith45jock, I have use http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/43961-homegroup-create.html tutorial that you kindly gave me And I did all the steps required there:
- Set the Services:
DNS Client - Started and Automatic
Function Discovery Provider Host - Started and Manual
Function Discovery Resource Publication - Started and Automatic
HomeGroup Listener - Started and Manual
HomeGroup Provider - Started and Manual
Network List Service - Started and Manual
Peer Networking Grouping - Started and Manual
Server - Started and Automatic
SSDP Discovery - Started and Manual
UPnP Device Host - Started and Manual

-Synchronized the clocks

and other steps as shown by the pics attached.

However I cannot move on to 6th steps. Because instead of "Share with home computers", the message in the box still writes "Homegroup is not ready yet."

Is there anything else that I should do? Please help. Thank you..

Are there other computers connected to your Homegroup which are currently sharing Libraries?

You might try with the Local Area Connection enabled and connect with a wired connection.
