Hello,

I am having difficulties with my networkshare on Homegroup. With cable connected to my router/modem I have a LaCie2Big NAS and a WDTVLive mediaplayer. Since a few days I no longer see the two devices other than as mediaplayer devices. They are no longer displayed as other devices or computers which I can browse using explorer. Probably an easy fix, but I can't figure out what happened. I have tried several reboots, no change. I am using the ethernet cable on my desktop and wifi on my laptop. Both display the devices the same (useless) way.

Anybody can point me in the right direction?

Many thanks!

I am able to browse all my devices by typing their respective network ip addresses in the explorer address bar using backslashes. But I still wonder if there is a way to show the devices in the network as before?

I have given the "ultimate homegroup guide" a shot, but no joy. However I have simply made network connections which will show in explorer, so it is not really a big deal. Nevertheless, thanks again for the effort.
