Solved Homegroup Problem

I hear 'ya :D....those Belkin routers are nothing but trouble. If anything happened to your Linksys router, I'd say get another Linksys router.

I think that you should be all good to go. Glad to hear that the culprit is the new Belkin router and has nothing to do with all your network configurations.

Things can be complicated to troubleshoot sometimes, time consuming too, but there's always a solution to every problem. :)

Remember this, from one of your Posts? 'I QUIT'. I'm gdad that you continued and determined to find out what was causing it.

This AM, I turned everything on and it all works. Still in the Homegroup on both computers and no connection issues with laptop it automatically connected to the network as it should.

I'll stick to Linksys routers from now on. Thanks for all your attempts to fix my problem. I think we both will remember to check the router out completely should:) we ever see this type of problem again.http://cssimg.sevenforumscdn.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
