I just tried to share some files with my Desktop (Win 7)PC from my Laptop and I get this pop-up asking for username and password yet my other desktop (running XP) works fine.
The Laptop (Win 7)shows up in my network on my desktop but just can't share either direction.
Any Advise?

OK Let me EDIT my post, I can share files from my laptop to my backup desktop I just can't get files from my main computer I get the message below.

Thank You

Login with the desktop credentials.

This is based on the fact that you have both computers accounts with the same name?

None of the 3 pc's are the same name. none have passwords to log on to the system. As you can see by the OP the Desktop is Jacks-PC and the laptop is Lappy. This is a home network through a wireless router. I can move files to the laptop and the back-up pc but cannot move from the Desktop.

OK usually to share on all three you need to have the account on all three computers the same with the password the same.
But in your case you seem to have some functionality. Ok the next step is your firewall is blocking access. In the laptop access your firewall and you will need to input the desktops (ip) into the 'Networks' access location. You could instead change your router in the 'Network ' access location to 'Trusted Network' but this is not advisable...
