HotFix Today!

I got half an hour ago a MS Hotfix kb981621...Set as Important in Windows Update.

It is very rare that kind of HotFix install right away and force me to reboot my computer.

Therefore everything went smooth.

I have not seen that one yet. Streaming works amazingly well for me so far. I haven't come accross any of the problems listed in that hotfix. Looks like people who do a lot of streaming or decoding along with format changes might actually run into those problems eventually. I wonder when this update will show up for me.

So far, i've never encounter issues in streaming media appart that basic settings that had to be done before stream...
I was amaze how come a Hotfix that should be requested to MS popped-up in WU!!!

This had reseted my settings in Homegroups aswell WMP and the only action was to re-enable the streaming media.

I received that one on 6/24. That Hotfix article is two months old so I guess they pushed it out.
