Solved Hotkey Combo Definition?

I have CrossHair V1.1 (Mike Lin's Home Page) and love it! However, the following statement from the website does not happen after I install (all else functions as advertised) :

"The setup program will also create an icon for CrossHair in the Quick Launch area of the taskbar. Press this icon to make the crosshairs appear and disappear in roving mode."

The default key combo for this function is CTRL + `

Is there a way I can discover what command this key combo executes so I can create my own icon?

Right click the taskbar, click "Toolbars" and then click "Quick launch".

Have a look at the left side of the taskbar, small icons appear there? Do you see your required icon there? If not, there should be a little arrow there, click it to see rest of the icons. Did you find something you need?

quick launch not in list - all taskbar icons visible, not there, thnx. looking for key def as per OP.

Glad to know it solved. Microsoft dumped the older "quick launch" but many programs still consider that older quick launch and put things there instead of "pinning" them to the new superbar taskbar.

For your second query, right click the shortcut, click Properties and check the "Target" field to see what clicking on it executes and with what extra parameters.

yeah I know about that way, but what if there was no shortcut to begin with? Then how would one discover what executes?
