Hotmail problems

Having much difficulty logging in to hotmail since yesterday. Once I put in password the screen hangs for a bit then finally gets in. When navigating it either takes forever or shows the following message:

We can't connect to Windows Live Hotmail right now. Please make sure that you're connected to the internet and try again.

Have changed options to forward to another email address, but did a test and it's not forwarding.

Anyone aware of current hm problems and how long this may be?

This may be a genuine problem on there side.

However just to make sure try using a browser you don't usually use and clear it's cache and Cookies (or if you use chrome use an incognito Window) and then try and login.

Also can you post your results from Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test.

Have you tried accessing it from another PC?

I installed Firefox and had similar problems. Finally checked out Hotmail support and boy, are they having problems since updating to the "new" version. Lots of people are having far worse problems than me (like deleted inbox emails, deleted contacts, all kinds of other issues).

Funny though, friends have Hotmail and are having no problems at all. Oh well, this too shall pass.
