"Hotspot Shield"

Hey guys. Is there anybody uses "Hotspot Shield"??? and if yes tell me what do you think about this software? Also if you know any other software, which will do the same as "Hotspot Shield" does?

Expat shield is similar I think (by the same company)
it assigns you an english ip adress.

I don't know anything about the software, but this provisioon in their TOS would prevent me from using it;

9.1 Advertisements. AnchorFree may deliver third-party advertisements ("Advertisements") within the content of any web page accessed. Advertisements may be injected into the top of the page, inserted directly into the page content, or even displayed to overlay the page. You hereby acknowledge and consent that AnchorFree may alter the content of any web page accessed for the purpose of displaying Advertisements. Additionally from time to time, AnchorFree may prevent any user's access to the product or continued use thereof until such user has successfully participated in applicable advertising programs, surveys, or other activities that collect and monetize users' personal information.

Sounds like spamware to me.

I agree. I wouldn't trust any software that has those sort of T&Cs. Don't touch it with a bargepole!

I previously used Hotspot Shield. Adblock will eliminate the ads. I can't say anything negative, but would encourage you to google the reviews of it and make your own decision.

Personally, I never felt secure. Now use vpnsecure.me for about $9.00 per month.

Careful With Bing Toolbar Installer

I was wary of it too; I installed it on a spare laptop I had laying around first.

Free UK proxy or -VPN is difficult enough to find; a permanent solution certainly calls for skepticism. Hotspot Shield does serve an ad at the top of every page that's loaded, but the remaining bandwidth is sufficient to stream 832x468 H.264 video at 25 frames per second (combined bitrate of over 1500Kbps with muxed audio stream).

Although it doesn't obscure delivered content, the advertisement can be distracting; the user is provided the option of closing the ad box--after it has fully loaded. My bandwidth has been gratifyingly consistent, and I have yet to "monetize" ... but now that I've seen the TOS, I'll probably toss them the occasional click-thru -- a fair price for peace of mind.

In my experience, any latent invasiveness resides in the installer -- as with all installers sponsored by Bing Toolbar, it is aggressive.
