Hi all,

I've been having hourly BSODs since Saturday afternoon.

They don't seem to happen for a particular reason that I can tell, they simply occur about an hour after my machine is booted.

I have also managed to get a picture of the BSOD, if its of any help at all!

Virus/malware scanners (Avast / Malwarebytes) don't pick up on anything out of the ordinary.

Please help!!

Stewb

Edit:
I should probably note that I am seeing ntfs.sys as well as volmgrx.sys in my BSODs

The zip you uploaded does not contain any crash dump.

Follow it: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/174459-dump-files-configure-windows-create-bsod.html
Go to Option Two, Point 2. Download the .reg file and merge it in registry by double clicking it.

Now wait for another BSOD. When it occurred, search the .dmp files manually in the default path: C:\Windows\Minidump or %SystemRoot%\Minidump. See if the crash dump is recorded or not (hopefully it will be recorded).Post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

+, have a look ....

Description:
\SystemRoot\SysWow64\Drivers\hwinterface.sys has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver.
It is Booz driver, developed by logix4u.net.
This file is technically a driver that is able to communicate with the parallel port, and it is recommended to run in the background. Because it is an essential component of the software that houses it, hwinterface.sys must remain active and working on the computer system. This means it must not be terminated or stopped, so it does not disable its function or affect the overall capability of the program.

So either update it, or uninstall it.

You have 43 items to autostart with windows.  :zip: :sarc:
Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept then restart.
Make it sure that the Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" 128GB SSD is running with the up to date firmware.

I doubt, as it is not the troubleshooting in real, but an attempt to bring the computer in the shape.

Observe how it is running, inform us about the situation :)

Good to know that you are satisfied, but I will still tell you to observe it over some more time, at least a week.
