How can I change which internal hard drive runs windows 7?

I have gaming laptop from Msi that lasted less than a year. I believe that my hard drive is badly made due to the laptops being mas produced. I also have two other built in hard drives that are not being used,I'm wondering how I can deactivate the faulty hard drive and run win 7 on one of the other hard drives. please help me!

I'm not sure I understand. These two internal hard disks are in another computer? What operating system is running on this other computer?

Be aware that you can't transfer the MSI Windows installation to another computer for two reasons:

1. It probably won't run.
2. Microsoft does not allow transfer of OEM licenses between computers.

Also, please fill out your system specs completely, so that we can help you better.

I'm not sure I understand your post #1 but let me try to help.

As Mellon Head requested we do need your system spec filled in completely.

Here goes.
You think you have a bad hard drive in your laptop and you would like to replace it.

First of all I recommend replacing it with a ssd. You will thank me later.

What you can do is clone your system to a hard drive or a ssd and then install the new cloned hard drive or ssd in the laptop. Because it is a clone you should not have a activation problem with Windows 7.

You have to install windows on one of the other hard drives in able to use it like that.

All laptops and hard drives are mass produced, that had nothing to do with your problems.

Even a brand new hard drive can die unexpectedly.

Your warranty should cover everything.

I would contact MSI.

If you want to install windows on another drive, you simply remove the bad one, insert a new one and install windows.
