I read several articles on Google about HDMI but not sure. I am confused about versions HDMI. What kind of version can I use for connecting my Toshiba Satellite E205 to TV LCD Samsung [Model: P2370HD]?

After HDMI 1.1 it dosnt really matter, if you have a cable just plug it in and see if it works.
When you have connected it, go to control panel | display | adjust resolution , and then click detect.
The TV should show up on the right.
