Solved How can I connect to websites in a particular country.

My browser is Firefox. I have been searching the Internet for technical data for some old vacuum tube equipment made in European countries. I am living in Canada. When I enter my search criteria in the browser search box, I automatically get connected to web sites of North America. My search has drawn a blank from these web sites. While these sites have a wealth of information about North American products, there is hardly anything about European makes. Is there something I can do, to use the browser to bypass the North American sites and connect to similar European web sites, that are most likely to carry the information I am looking for.

Thank you. I got connected to dozens of websites in Europe. If I choose to connect to DNS servers in those countries would I achieve the same results?

I think it depends upon your browser and if geo-location is enabled.

I'm not expert on all browsers but if you happen to use Firefox (or a Firefox variant) consider trying the add on mentioned in Posts #5 &#9 in this thread:

Yes, I am using Firefox and thank you for all the tips here. I followed them with great success and found all the information I need at this time.
