The destination list in the 'send to' menu; how can I re-arrange the order of appearance of the items in this list, to place the more frequently used destinations at the top of the list?

Thank you

Hello Melita,

Double check using the tutorial below to make sure that you have disabled auto arrange in the Start menu. Afterwards, you should be able to manually drag and drop them in any order you like. :)

Hello Brink, greeting to you!

I am sorry if I wasn't clear in my post :o I wasn't referring to the Start menu but the 'sendto' Context menu. You have many tutorials here on the subject. I used this one to add some destinations to it: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/229015-google-drive-add-send-context-menu.html
This is the one that I want to customize. I have done this in my Windows XP by dragging the items up and down but WIN 7 does not permit that.

Your post is not wasted. I customised my Start menu, following those instructions :D

Regards,

For the default entries you cannot make rearrangements. But if you add your own, you can get them on top thru the folder name - leading numbers are on top - e.g. 1folder is ahead of folder.

So if you want e.g. the Documents on top, make a new shortcut 1Documents and put that into the sendto folder.
