Solved How can I Delete a file that doesn't want to die ?

I've got what I think might be an incomplete download of a video file that won't delete.
A single left click gives me it's name and size (78.4MB).
The file won't play and any attempt to delete it just runs forever, saying "calculating".
Asking for it's Properties does nothing and attempting to rename it also runs forever.
Once I start to try to delete, the only way to halt the process is via Task Manager.

Have you tried to delete it in safe mode? If not, I would suggest giving it a try.

Delete it with a live Linux CD.

I thought I had tried deleting this rogue file via Safe Mode before, but maybe not, coz when I tried again .... deleting worked, and now it has GONE !
