Solved how can i downgrade from Windows 7 home premium 64bit to 32

please am using a Hp notebook of 1Gb RAM and 250Gb HDD, mistakenly upgraded to Windows 7 Home premium 64bit and since then my system has been operatingly poorly, my battery dies easily, how can i do the downgrade? someone please help me.... thank you

As far as I know, you would have to do a clean reinstall, using the 32-bit disk. I don't think you can "downgrade" without a clean install.

Reverting to 32bit is not going to solve your laptop performance issues.

Work through these Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7.

In particular check in Device Manager to make sure you have the latest 64 bit drivers which may be cued under optional Windows Update, or are on the HP Support Downloads webpage for your model.

If there are specific performance problems, post them back and we will help you troubleshoot them.

Hello again mate, you would se a significant performance boost if you did add RAM to at least 2GB more if possible, RAM is cheap.

i have successfully upgraded my RAM to 2gb and so far it has been working properly just that my fan noise is now high, is it a sign of any malfunction?
