how can i enable recyling bin for the files store in a USB drive?

Hi, just encountered this problem recently. When ever i tried to press delete to delete a file, normally it would ask you whether or not you want it to go to the bin, right?? but when ever the file was at an USB drive, it just asked me if I wanted to permanently delete the files!! the bin been by save guard, believe me, i am that incompetent to managing my valuable files, so i need the bin in order to, "hey... i shouldn't have done that" kind of scenario... , but now i have this problem. Mobile Hardrive that uses usb are excluded from the problem, and is data on local system.

one more question, how can i set a timer for the recyle bin??so that it automatically delete files after a good amount of time, don't want the data to pile up you know. Last time i checked, some files were ages ago and was still here!!

You are lucky, whenever I delete files from any of my flashdrives it just says ''are you sure you want to delete?'' and those files never go to the recycle bin.

They technically shouldn't.. why would you need to have the files be copied into the main drive to be sent to the recycle bin? Seems unecessary..

Not sure about you, but all of my internal drives have dedicated recycle bins for them, they're not copied to the "main drive" (C in my case). It's located under:-

%Drive%\$Recycle.Bin\
