Okay - so I needed to un-install my video driver - and i did through device manager.
But now - I need to install a different version of the video card driver(an older one) to get another program to work - but every time i run the installer it gives me this messege:
The Nvidia Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit.
(That was when i was trying to install the older driver.)
So just to make sure my video driver still "worked" I went over to nvidia.com and downloaded the latest driver my my Nvidia Geforce 8400M GS card - but when i ran that, i got the same message as stated above.
Help? I'm on the normal VGA graphics - which is garbage - and my aero theme got disabled - and watching flash videos on the web is very choppy now...
So - how can i re-install my card - or better yet - installer the older version.
