My TV doesn't seem to play Assasin Creed normally. The screen gets weird as I play it.I might upload a gameplay later to help you guys to resolve my issue.

Text seems weird too. The text always have a white border which makes my family extremely uncomfortable. Please reply ASAP.

TVs usually do not work well as monitors and monitors usually do not work well as TVs. Your resolution is probably not compatible.

But how can I make it work better as a monitor while I am looking for a budget gaming monitor?

You can`t, as stated TV`s make for a horrible PC monitor, no matter what anyone says, they are just ok as a PC monitor and for watching movies from a PC, but the pixels are just to large.

Games on a PC should be played on a PC monitor and games on an HDTV should be played using a console (PS3,4) (Xbox) etc

How do you have the PC connected to the TV ? HDMI cable ?

Can you post an exact manufacturers link to your TV ?

How much do you want to spend on a PC monitor, this one is excellent for gaming, I love it.

I can't post a link that redirects to my TV's page because the TV is from some weird china company that I can't seem to find on the internet.

The TV is 1920×1080 60Hz(According to windows)

Windows detects it as HDTV.Changing the dpi doesn't resolve the issue.

I live in Hong Kong anyway. If that helps.

Hi,
Not really you need to say if this tv is pc compatible meaning does it have a vga connection and if so are you using it or are you using an hdmi cable ..?

Also what class is it 32"-40"-........?

I've used my little laptop 1280x800 to my 40" sony it looks pretty good using either vga or hdmi so I have no idea what these guys are talking about :)
I would hope a desktop and decent gpu would be even better but I have not yet tried it out but I did finally get another apc battery backup so I'm closer to moving a pc to the tv :)

With a laptop in mind it obviously has a built in display
That display when connected to a larger screen will mostly scale to the larger display being used which i would use Winkey + p and use Duplicate
Soon after windows will downscale the laptops display to an optimal size = not sure what that was
Then scale to fill the 40" sony's screen
So we are mostly talking about scaling a smaller to a larger screen
So without a smaller say 1600x900 monitor hooked up to base the scaling from I would image the results will vary on how well the display will look with nothing to base off of and just using the larger tv and no other ;)
