Hi!

I would like to revert back to not having an icon preview when I go to delete a file. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me how to fix this.

Dont know whether there is any way to do it . I will search it using resHacker. But there is a way to delete files without having any preview, press Shift+Del, and then press enter.

By doing this, a file will be permanently deleted, you cannot recall it, so be sure that you are deleting the file for deleting it , it is unnecessary to you .

Are you trying to get rid of the delete confirmation dialog box altogether? From the Microsoft site:

If you don't want to receive a message each time you send a file or folder to the Recycle Bin, you can choose to not get the messages.

On the desktop, right-click Recycle Bin, and then click Properties.

Under Recycle Bin Location, click the location of the Recycle Bin you want to change (likely your C drive).

Clear the Display delete confirmation dialog check box, and then click OK.
