How change Windows 7 Desktop Icon size (other than 100, 125 & 150)

I have my setting at 125 - but would like to set it to something between 125 and 150. I want to experiment with this setting if I can make it variable. Thank you.

Click on an open area of the Desktop. Press and hold the Ctrl key then roll the mouse wheel. One way makes things bigger, the other way smaller.

Just what I was looking for............

Now, for the next part: I made them a little too big and, in the process, they got mixed up. My Desktop is loaded with Icons - not a lot of space left. I have these Icons in exactly the spaces I want them in. I also have a program that will restore their positions if they become mixed up. However, this program doesn't seem to work that well. Using Ctl-Mouse Scroll, I made them a little too big for the screen and they got mixed up. My Icon Position Restore program cannot put them back where I want them. Do you know of a program that is designed to do this? Thank you.

I use DesktopOK for this.





No install needed, just run it. Click at bottom left to set the language then click Options, Restore by Windows Startup then close the window. It will sit in the System Tray.

Thank you - I'll try it out. Is it reliable and consistent? Does it have any limitations or can it be quirky in any way?

Nothing strange or quirky for me, it just works and does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Every time I make a change to my desktop icons, I click on DesktopOK in the System Tray then delete the current saved entry and save a new one.
