How come my ssd benchmark so slow?

Hi,

I just got a Crucial BX500 240GB and the benchmark substaintially lower (in the 4k section) than other benchmarks I've seen online. What could be the reason?

My laptop boots very quickly, in about 10 seconds, but some softwares, like VSCODE do not load instantly.

Update:
Ran another one with power adapter connected and on high performance mode and the results are a bit different:

Any idea how come when I run the benchmark on a different app I get significantly lower results?
