I originally posted this thread in another section days ago, but no one responded. Thought I might try here.
I basically want a way to create previews of my movie collection. When I have company come over, I can play my trailers, and they can decide what movie they want to watch. It can be individual trailers, or one long clip that consist of a variety of trailers joined together.

Yes, you need video editing software that is capable of trimming videos and saving the clips. You can then put them together in one long vid if you like. Don't know if Windows Live Movie Maker is capable of that or not.
