How do I change computer name

Please see attached image. I want to change the text that shows up on the right side of the start menu pop up, the one that reads "wner". This name also shows up when the computer boots as the name of the account.

I have tried changing it this way, and it has not been successful - "Computer name, domain and workgroup settings" > Change settings > System Properties > Computer Name.

Hello RegSK,

That would be the name of the user account instead.

If you like, you could use the method in the tutorial below to rename it.
