How do I configure WMC to have two audio outputs?

My computer is in one room and TV is in another. I use the stereo plug to power the small satellite speakers at the computer and the HDMI cable from the mother board to drive the TV in the adjoining room. I would like to have sound in both rooms, but WMC seems to restrict one to either/or... Thanks, david

As far as I know this is not an option for WMP or WMC but is possible with some other players ....

Having re-read your post this is not what you want as this will give you the ability to send the output to either of the outputs not both

If you have a What you hear option on your sound card you may be able to do what you want this is often disabled by default so you may need to enable it to use it - right click on the playback devices tab and select show disabled devices and display unconnected devices

Right click on the speaker icon in the tray and choose recording devices
Set the default to one output device
On the properties tab select the listen to this device option and set it to playback to the device which is not the default

The problem I have with this is the latency caused by the recording device, it gives a definite echo on my set-up. It may be possible to adjust the playback to Or you can try changing the default as the echo is manageable on my system if I select the speakers as default and then send the what you hear to the HDMI, but not the other way round
