Hello,
Having indiscriminately updated drivers to my AMD equipped Gigabyte motherboard, I induced enough errors to have to cause me to do a full clean install.
Now I let the install do all the drivers. I know the board came with a disk when I purchased it several years ago. I would like to upgrade to whatever USB, Ethernet and SATA updates and versions that it supports, now.
I do not wish to degrade, my now functioning system by blindly doing anything. Can someone advise me how to check the current states of these devices and how to upgrade safely and intelligently.
Thanks for any assistance!

BTW what is faster, old SATA transfer or old USB transfer?
