I know how to set the blink rate of the blinking cursor line in Windows 7, and I know how set the thickness (width) of the blinking cursor line too, but...

How do you disable (or hide) that cursor line all together?

(You can set the registry value of CursorBlinkRate to -1 to make it a solid line that doesn't blink, but I can't find value to make the line invisible. Also, you can set CaretWidth to 1 to make the thickness of the line one unit, but you can't set it to 0 or -1.)

Thank you for your help.

I don't believe this is possible. While it is possible for an application to hide the cursor in it's own windows this in not something that a user can control.
