How do I download & install Microsoft Teams on my desktop ?

Hi,
I am using Win-7.
I uninstalled Skype.
I have spent hours trying to download & install MS Teams.
I downloaded from MS Site but it will not install & kept giving errors & also said it won't work on Win-7.
I tried Load.com & that site has option for Win-7 Teams exe & it downloaded over 170 MB but with strange extension & won't install.
So please help.

You could try an older version of Teams from back when it still supported Windows 7. The Internet Archive Wayback Machine has this MS download page from 2019.
