How do I edit/delete "contributing artists" in W7 files

Any ideas how to edit/delete "contributing artists" in music files? I have scores of misspelt ones (late nights & wine). I have about 90 gig of files so it would be impractical to go through them all to find which have been tagged wrong. I'm assuming there is a holding file for these somewhere but I haven't the savvy to find it.

When you go to the music folder on the bottom bar you can right click, choose "Size", and extend the bar to "Large". Select the song and then find the spot for the contributing artist that you can fill in. To save the changes after writing the artists, hit the Enter key.

Edit: As for finding the EXACT wrong ones... sorry - looks like you're gonna have to do some crazy searching...

To edit or delete music metadata, you will need a music tag editor . Here's a couple
TagScanner - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com
mp3Tag - Download

The answer a year later (for posterity)

First of all, yes, this in an old old post, BUT it is the #2 thread to pop up on Google when I typed in "how to clear property for contributing artist".
Therefore, for good of all the people in the world that have asked and been told to "Google it", here is the answer.

1.Highlight all the files that you wish to clear any sort of meta data from.
2.Right click and go to properties.
3.Click on the Details tab.
4.At the bottom of the Details tab, there is something that says "Remove Properties and Personal Information. Click on it. Don't worry it won't ruin anything.
5. A new panel will pop up, click on the second bubble option and BAM, you can select all the info that you want to clear for all those 93GB of music that were ruining your MP3 player artist lists or album lists or what ever.

You're welcome random internet person. Please enjoy the rest of the internet.

I must agree.

Half the time I come across the smartass 1000+ post people sarcastically telling people to "Google it". Well it just so happens that your stupid post was in the top 5 results for my problem. Evidently there wasn't a solution through "googling it".
