how do I find if my mother board has spdif connectivity options

Hi, Now I am hearing hdmi cable sound thro my analog speakers.
My mother board is intel q33 from zebronix .
I want quality audio from my speakers, for which I suppose, that I need s/pdif connectivity.
I am having nvida geforce 210 video card.
how do I know , that if my mother board has s/pdif connectivity or connector.
I bought the mother board in 2015 or so.
any idea

I think you mean "Zebronics" not zebronix.

it looks like your motherboard does not have an spdif out port at the back of the board (many of the zebronics boards do not include spdif coaxial or optical audio ports).

you may need to buy & install a 3rd party sound card that includes an SPDIF port if you want to connect your audio equipment with an SPDIF cable

Hi, thanks, erpster. Will not nvidia audio drivers could be routed to the default speaker to get the quality hdmi audio enhancement??
2. will there be sizable qualilty improvement in sound if I opt for spdif
I am only having two small speakers, would spdif connection, separate some instruments to both the speakers .
I remember, hearing some instruments sound from the left speaker, while some other instruments sound from right speaker.
For this kind of experience what I need erpster4

honestly, I do not know. very difficult to tell the difference between hdmi and spdif since they both provide very good sound

Spdif connection works best with 5.1 based speakers, not 2 speakers (or stereo speakers)
