How do i fix SM bus controller not installed error ?

Lately whenever i plug in my usb, my pc won't detect the usb and won't read it. After i use trouble shoot, it sends out an error called "SM bus controller not installed". I have tried to fix this problem but it didn't work. Could someone help me please ?

Hi Welcome to Seven Forums .. Try Installing the Chipset Driver ... From the Manufactures Website ...

Thanks for the system spec my friend but i still wonder on how to fix this error. To be more specific, where exactly can i find my driverS for NET WORK CONTROLLER, SM BUS CONTROLLER and finally USB controller? I have tried to download the manufacture website but i couldn't find it. Can you help me? Thanks

Hi there try the following >>> Go to Start Type in CMD then open it .. And type the following >>> wmic baseboard get product,Manufacturer,version,serialnumber

Thanks you so much, most of the problems have been fixed but my computer still can't recognize any usb i plugged in. It features an error called "HSPA WCDMA Technologies MSM has a driver problem".

What is the Device you have plugged in to the USB Ports ... Have you tried a mouse or Keyboard ?
